Ben Sandman
Ben Sandman’s stories have appeared in Fiction Southeast, Stirring, The Susquehanna Review, Joyland, The Allegheny Review, which awarded him its prize for prose in 2014, and Stone Canoe, which awarded him the 2015 Allen and Nirelle Galson Prize for Fiction. He has contributed interviews and reviews to the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Rumpus, and Full Stop.
A graduate of Vassar College, Sandman earned an MFA in fiction from Oregon State University, where he was the recipient of a Provost’s Distinguished Graduate Fellowship.
He was born and raised in the Catskills in upstate New York and is currently a Ph.D. student in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Cincinnati.
