Nicholas Petty
Nicholas Petty is a British writer whose stories have been published in the New England Review, The London Magazine, The Brixton Review of Books, The Moth Magazine, and elsewhere.
His short story, “Close Your Eyes,” won the 2024 Aesthetica Creative Writing Award. His work has also placed in the Fish Publishing and London Magazine short fiction prizes. Further prize listings include the Sunday Times Audible Short Story Award, the Galley Beggar Press Short Story Prize, the Desperate Literature Short Story Prize, and the Manchester Fiction Prize, among others.
Nicholas grew up in Macclesfield, UK. Having lived in Cambridge and London, he now calls Utrecht, the Netherlands, his home.
