Michael Nye is the editor of Story. He is the author of three books of fiction: the story collection Strategies Against Extinction, the novel All the Castles Burned, and the story collection Until We Have Faces (Turner Publishing, 2020).
His fiction and nonfiction have appeared in American Literary Review, Boulevard, Cincinnati Review, Crab Orchard Review, Epoch, Hunger Mountain, Kenyon Review, Literary Hub, The Millions, Normal School, North American Review, Northwest Review, Sou’wester, and elsewhere. He has worked on literary magazines for more than twenty years, including as the managing editor of River Styx and the Missouri Review, and he has taught creative writing at the University of Missouri, Washington University, and Kenyon College.
He lives in Columbus, Ohio.
