Jessy Randall

Jessy Randall’s first collection of poems, A Day in Boyland, was a finalist for the Colorado Book Award. Ted Kooser chose one of the poems in it, “Superhero Pregnant Woman,” for his American Life in Poetry column. Another poem, “Why I Had Children” from Injecting Dreams into Cows, appeared on the side of a street-cleansing truck in Australia as part of the 2013 Sydney Writers Festival. Randall is the Curator of Special Collections at Colorado College and lives in Colorado Springs with her family.

Her most recent poetry collection is How to Tell If You’re Human: Diagram Poems, available now from Pleiades Press.
