Helen Betya Rubinstein’s essays and fiction have appeared in The Kenyon Review, Gulf Coast, The Paris Review Daily, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Jewish Currents, LA Review of Books, and The New York Times, among many others. She holds degrees from Brooklyn College and the University of Iowa, respectively, and has received fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, Willapa Bay AiR, Marble House Project, and the I-Park Foundation.
