Heather Aronson
Heather Aronson’s short stories have appeared in American Short Fiction, CRAFT, Farmer’s Market, Mid-American Review, MonkeyBicycle, and Witness. Her work has been a finalist for the 2019 CRAFT Flash Fiction Contest and the 2021 Story Foundation Prize. Her story “What You Know”, was nominated for The Best Short Fiction 2020. Her work, “The Side of the Road Forever”, was the winner of Sonora Review’s RAGE contest in Fiction in 2022.
She holds an M.F.A. in Fiction from the University of Arizona and was a Fellow in Fiction at the University of Wisconsin’s Institute for Creative Writing.
Aronson is a co-curator of the Page reading series in Pittsburgh, PA, where she lives with her husband and many of their (combined) five grown children. Her recent story, “This Isn’t A Story”, was published in MonkeyBicycle and can be read here.
