Greg Schutz

Greg Schutz’s stories have appeared in Ploughshares, American Short Fiction, Alaska Quarterly Review, Colorado Review, Third Coast, Carolina Quarterly, and elsewhere. His fiction has been anthologized in New Stories from the Midwest and Masters Review Anthology X, nominated for three Pushcart Prizes, and listed among the notable stories of the year by both Best American Short Stories and Best American Mystery Stories.

Schutz earned his MFA from the University of Michigan and has received fellowships and support from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.

He lives in Michigan.
