Sela Chávez
Sela Chávez has published flash fiction and book reviews in the San Antonio Current and the San Antonio Express-News. Her piece “A Beginner’s Guide to Deathbeds” won Best Fiction in The Thing Itself, and she is a former Lambda Literary Emerging LGBTQ Voices fellow. Sela worked as a senior editor in the business consulting world for more than a decade and is now freelancing as a developmental editor for marginalized voices. Originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, and currently based out of Texas, she works at Story as the reviews editor.
