Amanda Avutu
Amanda Avutu is a freelance writer and editor who earned an MFA in Creative Writing: Poetry from The New School. Her flash fiction piece, “Somehow Whole” appears on Green Mountains Review online. Additionally, her short story “Thieves,” which was selected as a top-25 finalist in Glimmer Train’s November 2012 Short Story Award for New Writers contest, appears in Issue 14 of Fiction Fix. She lives in Ohio with her husband and two children, where she is working on her first novel.
