Jeff Fearnside’s fiction has appeared widely in literary journals and anthologies, such as The Pinch, Rosebud, Many Mountains Moving, Crab Orchard Review, and—most recently—Fourteen Hills, Pacific Review, Soundings East, and Everywhere Stories: Short Fiction from a Small Planet (Press 53). National awards for his work include a Grand Prize in the Santa Fe Writers Project Literary Awards Program and the Mary Mackey Short Story Prize, and he is the recipient of a 2015 Individual Artist Fellowship award from the Oregon Arts Commission. His fiction has been nominated once for Best New American Voices and twice for a Pushcart Prize.
